Bosch has inaugurated the first phase of expansion of its development centre in Adugodi, Bengaluru.

Bosch to invest Rs.1,200 cr in India

Bosch will invest Rs 1,200 crore to expand and strengthen its operations in India. The fresh investments will go into capacity expansion across Bosch companies in the country. Apart from increasing production lines, the company will also set up a research and development (R and D) centre.

Tata Hitachi to invest Rs 200 cr in R and D

Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co will pump in around Rs 200 crore on R&D and upgradation of its Kharagpur plant in West Bengal even as it expects profit to be hit by slowing demand this fiscal. The joint venture between Tata Motors and Hitachi Construction Machinery, hopes the new investments will help it tide over the dependence on imported materials

UCME plans to setup R and D centre in Pune

Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment, the construction equipment manufacturer is setting up R&D centre in Pune with a total investment of Rs 6 crore to develop new products. The Pune-based company has about 50 products in its portfolio with four verticals catering to mechanisation, concreting, material handling and processes. It has two manufacturing units in Pune and Satara in Maharashtra and one in Rudrapur in Uttaranchal.

Carraros R and D centre in Pune

Italian transmission system maker Carraro has set up a new research and development (R&D) centre along with roll out of new transmission line at its Ranjangaon plant near Pune.
